As a rogue, I was able to successfully farm one turn in (20 shards) approximately every hour with the Raining Blood and Battle Hymn buffs. Kommentar von warstryJust throwing this out there. I just hated waiting a minute between attacks. However, I suppose my Vengeance stacks may have made up for the damage I would've had with Reave. The more mobs I had on me, the more attacks counted towards that, and the stun is very useful. You can chain pull very easy and although Angel of Death is a very popular buff, I found Bladeturning to be AWESOME. I got the last 23 shards I needed to hit Revered in less than 2 hours. Then just fly back to the first one and do it all over. There's 2 other "villages" with at least 50 mobs on the way.

I started with the village you see when you first get there, kill all of them, then go along the coast to the Northwest I believe. Best advice I can give you is go to Zan'Vess in the lower left hand side of Dread Wastes when the dailies are NOT there.īeing my class made pulling 20+ mobs easy, (even more with Army) but the amount of enemies near each other and the fast spawn rate is still very, very effective.

I'll stop reporting my results, we have an idea with what we got there. | 9 | 03:50 am | 7 | 4 | - | 10 mins | 4 |Ģoct'12 did 4 runs beetween 10pm-11:59pm got 3 shards total, not always a good day as you can see | 8 | 03:30 am | 7 | 0 | - | 10 mins | 0 | No shards at all, just motes | # | Time | pulled | from packs | On spine | TimeSpent | Shards| | | Start | Packs | Shard(s) | | Totals | But it happen sometime to have no drop at all. (and they restart spawning in few minutes anyway).Įdit: Spine are worthless for the amount of time/kills you spend to collect shardsĮdit: Average of 5 shards total for the 7 differents packs cleared. The total killed is much more than a pack. The flying pats are not endless, after 4 mins pulling all of em (could take longer if you kill 1 by 1) they stop coming and then you have a little bounty on the ground. I farmed the packs on north and the flying pats from the spine at near the breach on the wall. I pushed the farm to test the productivity. If its too hard for you to solo, I did couple pack while grouped and it seems to multiplies the Dread amber shards drop (we were getting 1-2 each per packs (have to test it out)).Ĭonfirmed: If you are grouped, the shards multiplies even if loot is set on FFA you will get all of em (I got 3 from 1 pack, never seen before)

Just blow your AoE cooldowns and you should be able to kill a pack easily. You can AoE kill them pretty easily with the Angel of dead buff wich cast Reave. Kommentar von nakriptThe most productive way I found so far is to farm the packs of 6-8 Ik'thik Warrior beetween position and in Dread Wastes.
